Mevagissey Harbour, located in the picturesque village of Mevagissey in Cornwall, boasts a rich history that dates back to medieval times. Originally a small fishing village, Mevagissey grew in importance due to its thriving pilchard fishing industry, which peaked in the 18th and 19th centuries.
